This page contains trivia for "You Have 0 Friends". Remember, trivia must be factual, provable, and it is always best to cite your source for not-so-obvious trivia. If you would like to dispute a trivia point, please discuss it in the talk page.

Trivia

  • First appearance of Grandma Marsh
  • Throughout most of the last two acts, Stan along with everyone else on Facebook is dressed as Tron from the film Tron.
  • Cartman acts like Jim Cramer, the host of CNBC's Mad Money.
  • This is one of the few times this series has actually used the real name of a company, usually coming up with parody nicknames (i.e.:Wall-mart instead of Walmart or YouToob instead of YouTube). However, Facebook is spelled as FaceBook in this episode, probably due to copyright issues.
  • Kip's official Facebook can be found by clicking here (this was set up by a member of South Park Studios).
  • Some of the boys' birth years are revealed here but they are only valid for most of 2010. For example, it's stated that Stan's birthday is on October 19, 2001. However if we go back to Season 1, it would've been approximately 1989ish (eight years before 1997, when the first episode aired, All boys were eight at this time).
    • Season 2 = would've been approx. 1990.
    • Season 3 = would've been 1991 or so.
    • Season 4 = would've been 1991-1992 (They were entering fourth grade so they all were eventually turning nine by now).
    • Season 5 = would've been approx 1992-1993.
    • Season 6 = 1993ish
    • Season 7 = 1994ish
    • Season 8 = 1995ish
    • Season 9 = 1996ish
    • Season 10 = 1997ish
    • Season 11 = 1998ish
    • Season 12 = 1999ish
    • Season 13 = 2000 and so forth. Generally, you just go nine or so years before the year the episode aired (eight if it's the first three seasons). As this episode aired in 2010, it would've been 2001-2002 (For characters who are 8), and 2000-2001 for characters who are 9.
  • The farm game Kyle was playing is a parody of the game, FarmVille.
  • Kenny received his laptop through the One Laptop per Child foundation.
  • When Stan's profile is about to be deleted, there are 3 comments on there by Randy "Where my Friends at?", "Having some cereal and TV.." and "Man this bacon is good."
  • Right above Cartman's podcast he wrote "Butters--u better check out my new podcast! u need all the help you can get." Due to efforts for social status and being cool.
  • Clyde's profile status was "is da man, and you're not!" as shown on Cartman's podcast.
  • Randy acts like Bill Lumbergh, the boss from 'Office Space', along with other characters taunting and repetitively asking Stan if he has noticed their Facebook requests.
  • On Clyde's profile it says that he likes Towelie's Status.
  • Kip is still Kyle's Facebook friend, since Stan had Kyle on his friends list.
  • Kip Drordy shares a resemblance to Rocky Dennis of the film Mask.
  • A few pictures of a dog, in this episode resembles, one of Paris Hilton's Dogs.
  • Stan is using a 386 computer - a beige box straight out of the '90s - but he has the latest in monitors.
  • When Kip got Stan's list, Big Gay Al is on the end of his friends profile.
  • Clyde's birthday is revealed to be April 10th.
  • When the computer says "I'm afraid i can't let you do that, Stan Marsh" it is a reference to a popular internet meme, originally based on 2001: A Space Odyssey.
  • Stan has liked Cartman's podcast. This may have been before Stan logged into his account, when Cartman would still have had access to the account's password.
  • Kip's picture of him in a clown outfit on his bedroom wall is a parody of The Sims 3.

Goofs

  • Contrary to Stan having 845,000+ friends on Facebook, the social networking website currently limits each user to just 5,000 friends at a time in real life.
  • When Kip Drordy is added as a friend by Kyle, the Friend Request box says: "Confirm Kyle as your Friend?" Then, when the shot goes to Kip and back to the Friend Request box it says: "Accept Kyle as your Friend?"
  • Facebook requires all subscribers to be at least 13 years of age. However, profile pages are shown with birthdays in 2001 and 2003. The boys would've most likely just changed their birthdays after joining, though.
  • During Yahtzee, Stan's opponent says "Uhhh, I'm gonna count five in my five box." The dice on the table are three 3s, a 1, and a 4. There is no 5 that he could have recorded on his game paper.
  • When playing Yahtzee with Stan, his profile claimed to have a "Large Flush" although it is actually a "Large Straight".
  • When Kyle is playing on Farmville and Stan's digital form appears on the screen, he is shown to have 14 friends. However, by this point, he is supposed to only have Kip, Stan, and the Jewish boy he met on Chat Roulette.
  • On Mad Friends, Cartman mentions that Kyle had 55 friends on Facebook before he added Kip, but in a scene where Kyle sees his number of friends ignoring him, he had 30 friends, although it is possible that his friends ignored him before he noticed. In the beginning, Kyle said he had only 37 friends.
  • Stan's birth year is revealed to be 2001, but because he's 9, his birthday is in October, and this episode aired in April 2010, his birth year should be 2000, unless, of course, he's still 8.

Continuity

  • Cartman once again mentions Casa Bonita, where Clyde's birthday party is taking place.
  • This is the second episode in which Wendy has behaved erratically and unbalanced in regards to her relationship with Stan. The first time was all the way back in "Tom's Rhinoplasty".
