- Parody news site "NBC.com.co" (now defunct) released a story following this episode that claimed Yelp was suing South Park for $10 million. The article included a fake "response" from Matt and Trey. Yelp released a statement noting the parody nature of the website and confirming they were not actually suing.[1]
- Kenny does not appear in this episode, making this his only absence in Season Nineteen. Although he is seen throughout the episode, Stan only has a singular line.
- This is the first episode from Season 19 not to feature PC Principal.
- Ryan and Sarah Valmer are seen at the end of the episode, though their son Jimmy is not with them nor does he appear in this episode. Similarly, Bebe is shown with her father, though their mother is not with them.

- The scene where Yelpers "behead" the Whistlin' Willy's mascot parodies videos of ISIS soldiers beheading their prisoners. Prior to that, actual footage of ISIS training camps is shown when the news reports on the Yelpers.
