Xbox is a gaming console brand created and owned by Microsoft. The second-generation console, Xbox 360, first appears in the Season Ten episode "Tsst" while the next one, Xbox One, has a major role in the Black Friday trilogy along with PlayStation 4.

Xbox 360[]

The Xbox 360 was released as the successor of the original Xbox on November 22, 2005.

Eric Cartman is seen playing on an Xbox 360 in "Tsst" when Nanny Stella arrives at his house. She takes away his console and Cartman gets revenge on her by manipulating her, telling her the real reason she doesn't have children. In "Tonsil Trouble" Kyle wants to break Cartman's Xbox 360 because he gave him AIDS. Cartman convinces him not to do it as he will find a cure for it, but even after that happens Kyle cruelly says he would do it anyway.

In the Season Thirteen episode "The F Word", the Harley Riders mention kids being around loud stuff, such as the Xbox, when they realize that they are not the loudest ones in South Park.

Xbox One[]

Xbox One was released as the successor of the Xbox 360 on November 22, 2013.

In the Black Friday trilogy, the towns children are divided between which will be the better gaming system during the holiday season. Stan, Jimmy, Kenny (after betrayal), Craig, and Tweek are the main kids who choose the PlayStation 4, while Cartman, Kyle, Butters, Scott Malkinson, Clyde, Tolkien, and Timmy are the main kids who choose the Xbox One. A war ensues pitting the friends against each other. In the end, Xbox wins after Bill Gates beats the Sony President to death. However, the boys are distraught by the brutality of the war and decide that playing outside is better than video games.
