The Washington Redskins was a Kickstarter start-up company founded by the boys in the Season Eighteen episode, "Go Fund Yourself". The company consisted of Eric Cartman, Kyle Broflovski, Stan Marsh, Kenny McCormick, and Butters Stotch. The company specialized in doing absolutely nothing for its financial backers, and was created by the boys solely to make money in return for doing absolutely nothing.

Background

In their quest to get out of school and make large sums of money for doing nothing, the boys decide to make a Kickstarter start-up company, attracting attention with a catchy, attention-getting name. After being unable to find a catchy name to use, as all their suggestions have already been taken, Cartman informs the rest of the boys that the trademark for the Washington Redskins football team was revoked and thus was available for them to use. Despite some dissent from Kyle about the legality and ethics of using the Redskins' name, the boys agree to use the name. Use of the name turns out to be a successful idea, as financial backing and support comes flooding in, including from the terrorist organization ISIS. Alarmed by Cartman's use of the Redskins name, and fearing the negative publicity the start-up company could indirectly give to his football team, Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder visits the company's office and tries to convince Cartman to change the name of the company, but to no avail. As the media attention increases, both Kyle and Stan leave the company and form Furry Balls Plopped Menacingly on the Table, Inc.

After pressure comes from the NFL, Cartman agrees to change the logo of the company, which was originally the same logo as that of the football team. At a keynote presentation, Cartman unveils various, meaningless changes to the company office and the new company logo, which is the original Redskins logo with added breasts and a penis. Angered and unwilling to allow the start-up company to make its money once the Kickstarter funds become liquid, Dan Snyder and the Redskins football team attack the Kickstarter headquarters, destroy their servers, and burn the building to the ground, destroying the start-up company in the process.

Now with the original company destroyed, Stan and Kyle return and, along with Cartman, Kenny, and Butters, agree to rebrand the company as a fundraising company, just like Kickstarter. At another keynote presentation, Cartman and Kyle unveil this new project called Go Fund Yourself, and unveil a new, updated logo, which is the previous Washington Redskins logo with breasts and a penis, now having anal sex with another Washington Redskins logo with breasts and a penis.

In the wake of a football game against the Dallas Cowboys, the discouraged Washington Redskins football players refuse to play under their name and leave the locker room, with Dan Snyder as the last of the Redskins. Snyder, unwilling to give up, goes on the field and plays against the Cowboys, himself. He is brutalized on each play, but refuses to stay down, and the crowd becomes horrified at the display. This leads to public backlash and a boycott against the start-up company for their now-supposedly offensive use of the name. The boys realize the company has failed and resign to the fact that they have to go back to school.
