- Jeff Bezos' appearance and mental telepathy is identical to that of the Talosians from the original Star Trek: The Original Series pilot episode "The Cage".
- Although he has been in the show since season 2, this is the first time Stephen Stotch's job has been depicted (he had an unknown cubicle-based job in "Jared Has Aides" and was projectionist for "Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls", although that may only have been a temporary job).
- Cartman references how plots in later seasons have moved away from the main four boys.
- The South Park Mall is near-abandoned and incredibly dilapidated after Amazon's dominance of retail.
- Among the people working at the Amazon Fulfillment Center includes Mr. Slave and one of the redneck farmers from "You're Getting Old".

Coffeehouse going out of business, and the townspeople working at and/or being eager to shop at Amazon, is a reference to malls, big box retailers and small businesses across America being affect by e-commerce businesses such as Amazon, as they have gained tract and opened fulfillment centers in many cities in recent years. E-commerce often gives customers fast service without leaving home, as well as new jobs, but leaves towns with local malls and stores abandoned or with significantly less foot traffic.[1][2]

- As Stephen Scotch shows Mr. and Mrs. Tweek around the fulfillment center and mentions seeing familiar faces, Mr. Slave can be seen waving to them before returning back to his station. He was last seen in Season Twenty-One's Splatty Tomato.
- SoDoSoPa is seen again, though it appears to no longer have a homeless problem. It was last seen in Season Nineteen's Naughty Ninjas.

Goofs
- When the boys walk into the food court, the Svarroh sign only says "Pizza". After the Wiener on a Stick mentions they don't have the wholesale buying power like Amazon, the camera shows the Svarroh sign and it reads "Svarroh".
