The USS James Cameron is a ship that is named after its owner, James Cameron. It was featured in the Season Sixteen episode "Raising the Bar".

Background[]

Movie director and explorer James Cameron attempts to find the "the bar" by which the general public sets its standards. Once found, James would "raise the bar" that was lowered to extreme depths by the TLC show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

James' crew seems to show little regard for his endeavor to raise the bar because they believe it to be a metaphor and not a real object. Using a submersible vehicle James discovers Randy Newman beat him to there so he can still find work as a musician. After a brief fight, James successfully raises the bar, winning his crew's respect once more.

He refuses to take credit for this simply stating, "James Cameron doesn't do what James Cameron does for James Cameron. James Cameron does what James Cameron does because James Cameron is... James Cameron."
