To Catch a Coon is a story mission in the video game, "South Park: The Fractured But Whole".
Plot details follow.
Mitch Conner has kidnapped your parents! Find and interrogate him to find out where they are!
Head outside. You’ll receive a call from Mitch Conner. Follow his instructions and walk to Tweek Bros. Coffee. Talk to the man inside wearing a red shirt.
Then, Mitch Conner will give you a "Death Store" riddle. Next, go outside. Before you can follow the riddle, you will be attacked by the "managers" of the various gangs around the city.
After the fight, follow the riddle to Jimbo's Guns. Take a selfie with the man here.
Next, he gives you a "Happiness Reigns" riddle. Simply go to the Playground and talk to the woman on the basketball court. Then take a selfie with her.
Then, go to the Community Center. Here, you will come face to hand with Mitch Conner. This fight is very tricky. He will start to cheat, rending some attacks useless and returning other attacks back at you. Status effects come in really handy during this fight, particularly burning, grossed out, shock, and bleeding. Don’t neglect to use your TimeFart Pause in this fight. Professor Chaos and Call Girl both are very helpful in this fight. Professor Chaos is good for his minion summon. Call Girl is great for lowering Mitch's defenses. During the fight, be aware of the "Steal Turn" timer at the bottom of the screen. Once it runs out, Mitch will take your turn and use it for himself. Defeat him to receive the Heavy Hand of Deception artifact and the Spire of Domination recipe.
After the fight, return to the Freedom Pals HQ. Here, you will need to select various flatulence-inducing foods to eat before farting in The Coon's face to get him to talk. Finish the interrogation to close out the mission.
Now start your next mission, The Many Asses of Dr. Mephesto.
- The New Kid's torture against The Coon is a reference to the torture used against the Muslim family in the episode "The Snuke". Ironically, the referenced torture was performed by Cartman himself, in the mission, the exact method is used against him.
- The Woman in the mission, named Natalie, makes a minor reference (or coincidence) to the actress Natalie Portman, who apparently has exactly the same voice as the actress in the show.
- A Crab Person appears along "The All Star League" regardless if the (You Can) Call on Me quest was completed or not, this may be suggesting that said quest was originally intended to be part of the main-story line.
