"Time of the Season" is a song by English rock band, The Zombies. It was featured in the Season Two episode, "The Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka" and Season Fourteen episode, "201".
Background[]
In "The Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka", Jimbo Kern and Ned Gerblansky tell a story about their time as soldiers in the Vietnam War. This song plays in the background during the story. Stan Marsh uses this story as his homework assignment and receives an 'F' grade, because Mr. Garrison did not believe him.
In "201", Mitch Conner tells a story in flashback. He was a US soldier in the Vietnam War and was lost after the helicopter he was in was shot down.
Lyrics[]
It's the time of the season
When the love runs high
In this time, give it to me easy
And let me try
With pleasured hands
To take you and the sun to
Promised lands
To show you every one
It's the time of the season for loving
What's your name?
(What's your name?)
Who's your daddy?
(Who's your daddy? He rich?)
Is he rich like me?
Has he taken
(Has he taken)
Any time
(Any time to show)
To show you what you need to live?
Tell it to me slowly
Tell you what?
I really want to know
It's the time of the season for loving
What's your name?
(What's your name?)
Who's your daddy?
(Who's your daddy? He rich?)
Is he rich like me?
Has he taken
(Has he taken)
Any time
(Any time to show)
To show you what you need to live?
Tell it to me slowly
Tell you what?
I really want to know
It's the time of the season for loving
