Trivia

  • In the original promo picture with Cartman laying in the hospital severely injured, Jimmy is in the room with Stan, Kyle and Butters. But in the actual episode, he's replaced with Kenny.
  • Although mentioned, Principal Victoria does not appear in this episode.
  • In the episode, Cartman asks the P.C. Principal, does he want do end up like the Subway spokesman, referencing Jared Fogle.
  • The PCA Bros. fraternity Greek letters are ΡΩΔ which translates into Rho Omega Delta with the Omega on its side in the shape of the English letter C. The acronym within the episode is "Politically Correct Assholes" or ROD a slang term for male genitalia and used as a derogatory insult for someone being a bully.
  • While writing the episode, Matt and Trey would run around and immitate PC Principal.[1]
  • David can actually be seen while Kyle's speech.

References to Popular Culture

  • Cartman getting four days of detention references Tom Brady's four-game suspension from the NFL for his role in the "Deflategate" scandal. Later, Cartman has a dream where he portrays Brady, as well as NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
  • P.C. Principal compares Kyle to Bret Favre, referencing a viral video of him slowly clapping and rubbing his hands together when Caitlyn Jenner went up to accept the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the ESPY Awards. The video itself is later shown when Kyle is applauded for giving in and calling Jenner a hero.
  • Cartman tries to get back at P.C. Principal by framing him for having sex with Butters, invoking Jared Fogle's accusation and conviction for pedophilia. He is later seen during the climax prepared to prey on children.
  • The Syrian children being let loose during the climax parodies the 2015 European migrant crisis.
  • The PCA Bros. fraternity has the same carpet pattern as the Overlook Hotel in The Shining.

Goofs

  • Clyde, despite being part of the Taco Launcher crew, can be seen with the townspeople, questioning whats happening at the PC Frat House.

Bradley Biggle Sightings

In every episode of Season 19, Bradley Biggle can be spotted in the background, much like the Visitors were in previous Seasons.

  • Seen in the hallway on the left side of the screen in front of a locker while Kyle, Stan, Kenny and Butters discuss the new Principle.
