• In the card art, Space Warrior Tolkien is seen slicing the body off of a Jakovasaur, which may reference their debut episode, as almost everyone in South Park found them very annoying.
• Tolkien's costume and sword is based off a Klingon from Star Trek, more specifically the character Worf, which is a reference to how he was the only black Klingon in the original series, being another jab at Tolkien's race.
