South Park Mental Home

Not to be confused with South Park Mental House.

The South Park Mental Home is a psychiatric hospital in South Park. Mr. Garrison was committed here in the Season One episode "Weight Gain 4000".

Background[]

In the episode, Mr. Garrison is committed to the South Park Mental Home after his failed attempt to kill Kathie Lee Gifford during her visit to South Park. He wants to kill her because he lost to her at a talent show when they were children. He attempts to shoot Kathie Lee from the Book Depository and is interrupted by Stan and Wendy who attempt to talk him out of it. Stan messes things up by asking how Kathie Lee upstaged him, which causes Mr. Hat to take the shot anyway. Kathie Lee escapes unharmed but Kenny is accidentally killed.

Stan and Kyle visit Mr. Garrison in the South Park Mental Home.

After the failed murder, Mr. Garrison is intercepted by Officer Barbrady. Garrison blames Mr. Hat for the attempted murder. He is committed to South Park Mental Home. Stan and Kyle come to visit him, during which they tell him that Cartman is appearing on the Geraldo Rivera Show for his morbid obesity.
