South Park: The Fractured but Whole is an upcoming sequel to the South Park: The Stick of Truth. It will be released on December 6, 2016.

The game will feature the boys in their "superhero" personas.

Plot

The Fractured but Whole follows South Park: The Stick of Truth; the player again controls the New Kid (with the choice of male or female), joining the children of South Park as they role-play superheroes. After a fallout with Cartman over planning a film franchise, the boys start a civil war and fight over who should be in their films.

History

On June 18, 2015, Matt Stone and Trey Parker visited E3 2015 and announced that because of their "new abilities with creating games" a sequel to the Stick of Truth would be released. On June 13, 2016, during E3 2016, Parker and Stone revealed more info on the game, including a revamped combat system, story details, and a release date of December 6.

It was also revealed that anyone who purchases the game will get South Park: The Stick of Truth for free.
