Sexy Action School News was the second incarnation of the boys' school news show Super School News, seen in the episode "Quest for Ratings". The show was launched because the previous show, Super School News, got a rating of only four (that is, four students) - everyone else was watching Craig's show: Animals Close-Up With a Wide-Angle Lens.
The new show included fabricated stories that sounded interesting, hot girls for the 6th Graders, Butters recounting false celebrity sightings and what they supposedly did, Tolkien talking in a "more pure Caucasian dialect" (as opposed to his more natural "ebonic tribespeak"), and "Panda Bear Madness Minute", for the pre-schoolers. The new show beat Craig's show by three points in the ratings, but was crushed in the ratings by Craig's next show: Animals Close-Up With a Wide-Angle Lens Wearing Hats.
