Season Fifteen is the confirmed next season of South Park and began on April 27, 2011. This is a month later than the airing of the previous season premieres due to Matt and Trey's broadway musical, The Book of Mormon, in production. Despite Comedy Central or South Park Studios not having confirmed a Sixteenth Season, it is unlikely that South Park be cancelled after Season 15 considering the success the series has had and the money it brings in for Comedy Central. This season, like season 8 and onwards, consists of fourteen episodes. The mid-season finale, "You're Getting Old," possibly hinted towards a two-parter between the season's halves, which would force fans to wait for a conclusion 120 days after "You're Getting Old" aired.
