The cure: warm soup and a can of Sprite.

S.A.R.S., Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, is a viral respiratory disease with a 98% chance of survival.[1] It was featured in the episode "Red Man's Greed". When the episode aired, the disease was at the peak of its outbreak, and was widely reported on the news.

The Native American casino owner, Chief Runs With Premise, uses a group of naked Asian men to infect several blankets with the disease, which they then gave to the residents of South Park under the pretense of charity, in an attempt to drive them away from the town. However, they are able to cure themselves using warm soup, Sprite and DayQuil.

The Native American chief's son, Premise Running Thin, contracts the disease after coming into contact with some of the Asian men. Unable to cure the disease using their herbs and remedies, the Native Americans approach the residents of South Park for help. They are able to cure him using their Western "traditional" treatments, and the casino owners agree to leave the town alone.
