"Russians" is a new wave song performed by English musician Sting. It was featured in the Season Twenty-Five episode "Back To The Cold War".

Background[]

Following Butters' victory in a local dressage competition at the Park County Equestrian Facility, Mr. Mackey gives a speech to the audience, especially directing it to Vladimir Putin who is also watching the program. In the speech, he admits that his behavior towards the past has changed through the course of the competition, and believes that people should not try to go back to the past or get aggressive simply because "their dicks don't work the way it used to." He ends his speech by quoting some lyrics from the song: We (all) share the same biology, regardless of ideology. With an ovation from the crowd, some altered lyrics from the song is performed in the background, referencing an earlier gag where Butters' parents attempt to sabotage Davey Solokov's horse by feeding it organic food from Erewhon and giving it diarrhea as a result.

Lyrics[]

I wonder if Russians get diarrhea from Erewhon too
