This page contains trivia for "Royal Pudding". Remember, trivia must be factual, provable, and it is always best to cite your source for not-so-obvious trivia. If you would like to dispute a trivia point, please discuss it in the talk page.

Trivia

  • The word shit is uncensored three times in this episode; once by Scott and twice (once uncensored by Mr. Mackey. The last time shit was uncensored without a special circumstance was in "It's Christmas in Canada", where the French Canadian says shit at the end of the French Canadian Song; both episodes main plots were in Canada.
    • Matt Stone, in an interview on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, said that Comedy Central has allowed the word shit to be uncensored now.
    • It is illogical that when Mr. Mackey says "like a turtle taking a shit" is censored and when he says "dog shit" is not.
  • Ugly Bob's ability to turn Tooth Decay into stone just by staring at it is akin to Medusa of Greek legend and her ability to turn any living thing she looks at into stone.
  • Terrance, Phillip and The Queef Sisters appeared at the royal wedding but don't have speaking roles.
  • The dental hygiene play performed by the kindergarteners is a lot better produced than their last play at the end of "Helen Keller! The Musical". It's possible this is because the combined factors of the 3rd graders appeared to make their play all on their own, so it's likely the kindergarteners made that one by themselves, too and Mr. Mackey's deep feeling on the issue of tooth decay.
  • Queefing and The Queef Sisters are again mentioned since " Eat, Pray, Queef ".
  • When Ike is searching in his closet for his box of faith, a pirate hat is seen on his lamp. This may be a reference to his "adventures" as a pirate in "Fatbeard", there is also a chinpokomon from "Chinpokomon".
  • Canadians wear order of knight, which has resemblance to Order of British Empire, a parody of the [of Canada].
  • Mr. Mackey states his father was murdered by Tooth Decay, this is possible, since Mr. Mackey Sr. was last seen in "Child Abduction is Not Funny ".

References to Popular Culture

  • The Canadian royal wedding is a parody of Prince William and Catherine Middleton's wedding.
    • Many of the clothes worn by attendees were based on actual people - for example, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson wore a conspicuous blue "gondola hat" at the real-life Wedding, and a Canadian counterpart can be seen in identical dress.
  • Mr. Mackey's curse-heavy rants are a reference to the University of Texas baseball head coach Augie Garrido.
  • "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" is a song from the Walt Disney's Cinderella.
  • The band Rush plays the parody of "Candle in the Wind" by Elton John, a song he adapted for Princess Diana Spencer.
  • The part with the princess being trapped in a cube and the mushroom people are a reference to Super Paper Mario, a Nintendo Wii game. Tooth Decay's physical appearance is also likely a reference to Bowser.
