South Park Archives

Red Robin is a restaurant chain in the United States. Two locations are known to exist in South Park, one of which is connected to the South Park Mall. The first location appeared in the Season Fifteen episodes, "HUMANCENTiPAD" and "1%", and the second location connected to the mall appeared in the Season Seventeen episode, "Titties and Dragons". The first location reappeared in the Season Twenty-Four episode, "The Pandemic Special", where it has been closed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Background[]

Red Robin was first mentioned in the episode, "Pre-School", where Cartman offers the Sixth Graders a coupon for a free side of fries with the purchase of any deluxe burger at Red Robin.

In "HUMANCENTiPAD", a Red Robin can be seen to the right of the Apple Store whenever the store is shown from the outside.

In "1%", when the board representative for the President's Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition forced the healthy 99% of the students to give up their free recess time for mandatory exercise, due to Cartman's low fitness score bringing down the school's average, Butters Stotch and Jimmy Valmer decide to protest outside the government office.

While holding their picket signs, local news reporters mistakenly believe the protest is for occupying the Red Robin restaurant next to the government office. Reporters called it "Occupy Red Robin", a reference to the Occupy movements of 2011 held in cities all over the United States. By the end of the protest, the parking lot was full of litter and garbage left over by the police and SWAT tactical teams. The next protest destination was set for the Macaroni Grill.

In "Titties and Dragons", the restaurant within the South Park Mall is rented out for a "wedding" by the boys in order to have easy access to the mall, which is connected to the Red Robin and can be entered from the restaurant. Bill Gates and the Sony President fight each other in the Red Robin, resulting in the death of the Sony President.

In "The Pandemic Special", the standalone location has been closed as a result of the pandemic. Death appears in front of the building as furniture movers remove the tables and booths.
