The psychic detectives appear in the Season Eight episode "Cartman's Incredible Gift".
Background[]
Upon learning of Eric Cartman's work in a "left-hand serial killer" case, the psychic detectives visit Cartman in his residence, complaining that he did not attain the qualifications via a psychic detective ad from a comic book and pay the required fees. With Cartman refusing to do so, the group engages in the a "psychic battle", and later threatens to sue Cartman. In retaliation, Cartman has them falsely arrested in connection with the murder case, with one of the members, named Roger, being killed by the police force after they used fake telekinesis on them.
The real serial killer was eventually discovered and killed with the help of Kyle's "psychic powers", and the psychic detectives were freed, along with many other innocent people. At the hospital, the group decides to engage in another psychic battle with Cartman, but was interrupted by Kyle's screaming, which caused the lights and equipment to break apart.
Personality[]
They are all fraudulent, demonstrating no genuine psychic powers whatsoever yet claiming ostensibly to possess them, instead resorting to bizarre and ridiculous theatrics to mimic the effects of having supernatural powers, such as telekinesis. They also were hostile towards those who threatened their business, showing them to be greedy.
