Plot[]
After returning home, the New Kid heads back to their room and goes straight to bed. Their mother later opens up the door and reminds them to take the dinner, appearing drunk and carrying an empty wine glass. Just then, the New Kid's father, also appearing high on pot brownie with his eyes blood red, interrupts Kelly and asks if she had put "that stuff" into their child's food. Both parents descend into another argument and eventually get physical, all the while revealing in front of the New Kid that they had been adding unknown medicine into their food. The New Kid heads down for dinner as they are told, before returning to bed.
