New York City is the largest city in the United States and located in southern New York State. It was first seen in the Season One episode, "Death".
Background[]
In "Death", several protesters are seen outside Cartoon Central, demanding that the Terrance and Phillip show be taken off air.
In South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, the dispute between the Canadian Ambassador and the Americans over the arrest of Terrance and Phillip takes place at the United Nations headquarters.
In "Are You There God? It's Me, Jesus", it is showed quickly, when the Channel 4 News shows how people across the world are celebrating the arrival of the new millennium.
The South Park Elementary students head to Little Rock for the recorder concert with the four boys encountering the kids from New York. The city is then shown in ruins after the brown noise is played.
The borough of Brooklyn is shown as a setting for Russell Crowe Fightin' Around The World in "The New Terrance and Phillip Movie Trailer".
In "Broadway Bro Down", Randy treats Sharon to a night of watching Broadway shows in Times Square after Wicked stopped playing in Denver all so he could get some more blowjobs. The city is mentioned again later in the episode.
In "#HappyHolograms", CartmanBrah's live commentary is being broadcasted in Times Square.
In "Holiday Special", Randy appears on a news broadcast in Columbus Circle.
A damaged Midtown Manhattan is shown on a news broadcast in "The Scoots" after running out of candy.

Trivia[]
- According to files from South Park: The Stick of Truth, New York was supposed to be an open map at some point in the game (in the same way as Canada), but this idea ended up being scrapped along with a lot of other content. The enemies on this map would probably be the New York Kids (who were also cut from the final game).
