Nathan is first seen in "Up The Down Steroid" as a dealer who sells Jimmy Steroids. He has also taken a more leading role as Jimmy's antagonist during summer camp in "Crippled Summer"

History

When Jimmy and Timmy are competing the "Special People's Games", Jimmy begins to grow concerned about how he is not as good as his competition. While on his way to the locker room, he is called into a shadowy corner by Nathan, who offers Jimmy something to help with the competition. He offers Jimmy a new sort of steroid cocktail that doesn't show up on drug tests. Although slightly reluctant, Jimmy accepts the drugs, paying a handsome price for them. However, while Jimmy becomes a stronger athlete, it results in him damaging his relationship with Timmy, his girlfriend and parents, due to his roid-rage.

Nathan's second appearance, is at Lake Tardicaca, a summer camp for the disabled, where every summer, the camp splits into two teams who compete for the camp champion. While Jimmy is the beloved leader of the camp's blue team, Nathan is the sinister leader of the Red team, which has lost to the blue team three years running. Furious at having lost to Jimmy so often, he creates assorted plots aimed at not only ruining the blue team's chance at victory, but also will result in the death of Jimmy, who Nathan confesses to loath. However, Nathan's lackey, Mimsy continuously botches-up Nathan's plans, which causes Nathan to twice suffer a lethal bite from a Black Mamba Snake, be attacked by Native Americans, be raped by the 9-inch penis of a shark, and finally be blown up. While being rushed to the hospital, Jimmy, who is crowned king of summer camp, and who is unaware of Nathan's loathing, gives Nathan his crown in a sign of goodwill. Nathan however confesses to hate Jimmy, and again threatens Mimsy for his stupidity.

Appearance

The most notable appearance of Nathan is that his head is always looking up. Nathan has squinty eyes, long dark blonde hair and wears glasses. He talks in a sort-of low raspy voice. All of these things lead to the conclusion proving Nathan's down syndrome, which he appears to have a fairly advanced form of due to his intelligence. He also likely has some form of sociopathy or insanity, as evidenced by his plots in Crippled Summer. While all his plots fail in fairly cartoonish matter, the intention behind them (i.e. getting Jimmy and his friends stabbed, murdered, poisoned, raped, or bled to death) hints at poor mental health.

Trivia

• Nathan appears to have Down Syndrome.
• While Nathan normally talks in a fairly adult and intelligent manner (although his voice sounds a bit as if he has a speech impediment), he adopts a more childish voice when addressed by the adult counselors.
• Nathan's relationship with Mimsy, is similar to that of the Warner Brother cartoon characters, Rocky and Mugsy.
• All of Nathan's various plots that backfire throughout the camp games are similar to the Laff-A-Lympics.
• Nathan's catchphrase involves striking Mimsy and snarling "Shut up Mimsssy-eeeee!"
• It has been speculated by some fans that Nathan and Mimsy will return as an ongoing antagonistic team in Jimmy's life.
• Each individual problem that hits Nathan would be fatal in real life, IE: A bite from the Venomous Black Mamba causes death fairly quickly, arrows at high velocity to the center mass are often causes of death by Exsanguination, the weight of a full-grown shark on top of a human is fatal, and finally a close-range explosion with the explosive Composition 4 is instant death. The way he survived all these clearly fatal events is probably a reference to old "Lonny Tunes" cartoons.
