Moop is the band the boys form in the episode, "Christian Rock Hard". After Cartman is kicked out and forms his own band, Faith + 1, Moop goes on strike against illegal music downloading. 1% of South Park agreed with Moop's protest, 2% disagreed, and 97% responded, "Who the hell is Moop?" They are joined by many other musicians against illegal downloading. At the end of the episode, Moop realizes that as musicians, they should not care about the money they are making, but instead the good music they produce and declare they're ending the strike. The other musicians reply that they only made music for the money.
According to Randy Marsh, he thinks the band sounds like "a group of Vietnamese people having their intestines pulled through their mouths." Apparently 3% of South Park know who they are and 97% dont't. Many musicians also seem to know them as they join Moop's cause in stopping illegal music downloading.
