Mark is a pharmacist who works at the South Park Pharmacy. He first appears in the Season Four episode "Timmy 2000".
Background[]
Mark first appeared in "Timmy 2000", where he hands out Ritalin to families with children who have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder at the local clinic. He assures the parents their children will be okay, but he and the clinic doctor are later seen with wads of cash discussing how ritalin stocks are up and they stand to make another ten grand. Chef arrives and explains that kids are taking an interest in Phil Collins' music as a result of their work, and Mark is disgusted especially with this outcome. He and the doctor agree to help Chef by procuring Ritalout for the kids and helping him distribute it at the festival.
He appears briefly in "Cartman Joins NAMBLA", first trying to stop Kenny from buying anti-abortion medicine, then relenting when Kenny shows him an obviously forged note from his mother.
In "Proper Condom Use", he expresses discomfort with selling condoms to the fourth grade boys, but a female co-worker reminds him they are obligated to supply them to anyone who asks for safety purposes, and his name is revealed to be Mark. He admits he thinks elementary school sex ed is wrong, and his co-worker takes over and helps the kids instead.
Appearance[]
The pharmacist has curly red hair and a darker mustache and wears the standard doctor's coat over a blue shirt and a black tie, with black trousers as well.
