Lorde is Randy Marsh's musical alter-ego who appears throughout Season Eighteen.
Background
Lorde's first appearance was at the end of "Gluten Free Ebola" singing at the Boys' backyard party.
In "The Cissy", his story is expanded showing how Randy dresses as a woman in order to use the woman's toilet between lunch breaks. He found his voice sounds good while singing in the bathroom and accidentally became a pop singer. His image was marketed as a 17-year-old girl from New Zealand but in reality, is a 45-year-old geologist in Colorado. The money he earned from his songs is hidden away in behind a wall in the garage. Stan discovers his father's secret and he shows him how his voice is manipulated with an app on the tablet PC. Stan faints at the discovery.
As Lorde, his most famous song is "Push (Feeling Good on a Wednesday)", actually sung by real-life singer and songwriter Sia.
During the events of "The Cissy", a reporter with SPIN magazine named Brandon Carlile arrives in South Park trying to get a story about Lorde. When he discovers the truth, he planned to publish a scandalous story but ends up deleting it after being moved emotionally by the "Push" song.

His daughter is a fan of Lorde's and does not know Randy's secret. He plays the concert singing in his own voice and is booed off the stage. In an act of desperation, he mimics female masturbation thinking that is what the audience really wants to see anyway.
