Alex Glick

Alex Glick is a character based on a South Park fan who won a contest. He is voiced by himself. He has made a single appearance in the Season Seven episode "Red Man's Greed". Since this episode, Alex Glick, has not made another appearance on the show.
Baahir Hassan Abdul Hakeem
- Main article: Baahir Hassan Abdul Hakeem
Baahir Hakeem made a single appearance in the Season Eleven episode "The Snuke" as the new kid in town. Being of Middle-Eastern descent, Eric Cartman took this opportunity to harass Baahir by playing on the Arab stereotypes.
Bradley Biggle

Bradley Biggle, otherwise known as Mint-Berry Crunch, has been mostly a background character in South Park up until "Coon 2: Hindsight". He made his debut appearance as a background character in "Rainforest Shmainforest" and received major character development in the Superheroes Arc. Since then, he has left Earth to find his parents, promising that he will occasionally visit his friends.
Bill Allen and Fosse McDonald

Bill Allen and Fosse McDonald usually have roles as background characters. They're usually seen together as a pair and made their first appearance in "Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride". A parody of Beavis and Butt-head, they often refer to things as "gay" and then laugh in a monotone manner. They have yet to receive any major character development and usually haven't been given more than cameos or background roles in more recent episodes.
Brimmy

Brimmy is a background character. Despite the extremely long time he's been on the show, he hasn't had any lines outside of a crowd, until his first speaking appearance in the videogame, "South Park: The Fractured But Whole".
Boy with C Cap

The Boy with C Cap is seen as a background character. He has not had any speaking roles. He is most notable for the C on his baseball cap.
Boy with Red Shirt
- Main article: Boy with Red Shirt
The Boy with Red Shirt was only seen once in a dream during "City on the Edge of Forever (Flashbacks)" where he was eaten by a big scary monster, due to him leaving the bus. It is unknown if this character actually exists as he has yet to make an appearance outside of that episode.
Boy with Red Shirt and Blue Pants

The Boy with Red Shirt and Blue Pants is seen as a background character. A notable feature of his character design is that he has different-looking eyebrows compared to the rest of the children.
Butters Stotch
- Main article: Butters Stotch
Butters Stotch made his first appearance in "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe", however, his first speaking role wasn't until "Clubhouses". He is arguably one of the central characters in South Park. He is portrayed as over-trusting, naive, and innocent. His name is a play on "butterscotch", a type of dessert.
Clyde Donovan

Clyde Donovan is one of South Park's more significant characters. He made his debut appearance in "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe" and had his first lines in "Weight Gain 4000". Since then, he's been a regular member of The Boys' class. He is also one of the most prominent members of Craig's Gang most likely due to him being one of Craig Tucker's closest friends.
Craig Tucker
- Main article: Craig Tucker
Craig plays a significant role on South Park being the leader of his own "gang", which is the foil to The Boys. Craig appears quite often on South Park with "Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo" being his first appearance on the show. He remained a minor character up until "Tweek vs. Craig" where he and his now boyfriend, Tweek Tweak, received major character development by being made to fight each other by the Boys. Ever since then, his role on South Park has drastically increased, making him a significant and regularly appearing character. The episodes "Pandemic" and "Pandemic 2: The Startling" focused around Craig, which gained him additional character development and gave insight to a bit of his back story and personality.
Damien Thorn

Damien Thorn has appeared many times as a background or filler character, but his first appearance was in the Season One episode, "Damien". Damien is the son of the Devil and during his episode, he is the new kid at South Park Elementary. Since then, he can be rarely seen in brief cameos and hasn't been given another speaking role.
David Rodriguez

David Rodriguez is a male fourth grader. David made his first appearance in the episode "The Last of the Meheecans", where he is seen playing with other Mexicans with a piñata of mantequila. David made his first major appearance in the Season Nineteen episode, "You're Not Yelping". He is a busboy at his father's restaurant, Nueva Familia.
DogPoo Petuski

DogPoo Petuski is a minor character that has appeared many times. His first speaking role was in "Professor Chaos". He is most notable for his first line breaking the fourth wall, due to him saying "...I've been hanging around these guys for like five years and I never get to say or do anything." Although he's received other speaking roles since then, he regularly appears as a background character.
Douchebag

Douchebag is the main playable character in South Park: The Stick of Truth. He seems to be voiceless and mute, but at the end of the game he finally speaks, "...Screw you guys, I'm going home."
Douglas

Douglas appears as a background character in numerous episodes. He has yet to have a major appearance in any episode, but has had several speaking roles, starting with "Dances with Smurfs".
Eric Cartman

Eric made his first appearance in "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe". He is one of the main characters of South Park. He is a member of the boys. He is portrayed as evil, manipulative, and mentally unstable.
Francis
- Main article: Francis
Francis is a background character who first appeared in "Sexual Harassment Panda". Notably, he is also shown in "Jewbilee" as a Jew Scout, possibly making him the only other Jewish child in South Park, besides Kyle.
Gary Harrison
- Main article: Gary Harrison
Gary is a Mormon child who appeared in "All About Mormons". He has a brief friendship with Stan which ends after Stan decides that Mormonism is a scam religion. At the end of the episode, he delivers an impassioned speech stating that although Mormonism may be a scam, it still helps its followers lead a good life.
Gregory

Gregory appeared in South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut as Wendy's new boyfriend. He is intelligent, political and arrogant, and leads La Resistance against Mothers Against Canada. However, he is eventually dumped by Wendy at the end of the movie for being a bit of a prat.
Jake
- Main article: Jake
Jake appears as part of the Getting Gay With Kids choir in "Rainforest Shmainforest". He has made a few other background appearances since.
Jason White
- Main article: Jason White
Jason White was a regular background character around South Park Elementary. He appears as part of Craig's Gang in "South Park is Gay!", but has not been seen with the group in any other episode. He has had a few speaking roles in various episodes. He is run over and killed in "Season Finale", prompting the Whites to adopt Alejandro and a Panamanian Padengo Pequeño from the ICE Detention Center.
Jimmy Valmer

Jimmy Valmer (formerly Jimmy Swanson) is a male fourth grader. He is voiced by Trey Parker. Originally created as a one time character for "Cripple Fight", as a rival for Timmy Burch, he quickly became a fan favorite and plays a supporting role in many episodes. He also became good friends with Timmy later in the series.
Josh Myers

A parody of Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs, Josh Myers appeared in "Toilet Paper" as a serial toilet-paperist and is held under maximum security at juvenile hall. He is interviewed by Officer Barbrady to find the culprits of a terrible crime.
Kenny McCormick

Kenny made his first appearance in "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe". He is one of the main South Park characters and a member of the boys. He is portrayed as a sex-obsessed, but otherwise normal kid. He is most notable for his immortality. He was killed in half of the seasons of the show.
Kevin

Kevin appears in "Summer Sucks" as a boy who was thawed from ice after having been frozen many years ago. He has made a couple background appearances since.
Kevin Stoley

Kevin Stoley is a regular background character at South Park Elementary, and has had many speaking roles in numerous episodes. He is known to be Chinese-American and is also obsessed with Star Wars. He had his first major role in "Fatbeard".
Kyle Broflovski
- Main article: Kyle Broflovski
Kyle made his first appearance in "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe". He is one of the main South Park characters and a member of the boys. He is most notable for being Eric Cartman's "frienemy", as well being a constant victim of Cartman's bigotry. He is commonly the deuteragonist although he frequently trades this role with Stan Marsh.
Louis Handler

Louis is seen as a background character up until "Funnybot" when he received his first speaking role. He is one of the few students to wear a scarf.
Mark Cotswolds
- Main article: Mark Cotswolds
Mark Cotswolds made his first appearance in "Hooked on Monkey Phonics" where he and his sister won a spelling bee. He was extremely sheltered due to his parent's over-protectiveness. He later convinced his father to let him go to South Park Elementary. He was bullied until he beat up Kyle at the school dance, at which point he was accepted by the male students.
Mike

Mike made his first and only appearance in "Dances with Smurfs" where he applied for the "job" of South Park Elementary's morning announcer. He spoke with a severe stutter, not getting past the first word in the example passage Mr. Mackey asked him to read.
Nate
- Main article: Nate
Nate is commonly seen as a background character appearing throughout the town, usually in hallway scenes or crowd scenes.
Nathan
- Main article: Nathan
Nathan made his first appearance in "Up the Down Steroid" where he helps Jimmy Valmer into winning the Special Olympics by giving him steroids but in most of his appearances, Nathan is shown to have a hatred for him and had several plans with his lackey, Mimsy to kill him or to harm him but they all backfired on him but Jimmy does not let Nathan's hatred for him to be a problem.
Pete Melman

Pete Melman was first mentioned in "Bass to Mouth", where it was revealed that he defecated in his pants during class. He has not made any speaking appearances nor has he been seen since.
Pete Thelman
- Main article: Pete
Pete Thelman is one of the Goth Kids. His first appearance was in "Raisins". Like the other Goth Kids, Pete is depressed, cynical, nihilistic, wallows in his own self pity, and is akin to the goth stereotype. He has not appeared in the 4th grade classroom, so he either does not attend class, or he is in a different 4th grade class.
Peter Mullen

Peter Mullen appears with relative regularity at South Park Elementary, and has had a small number of speaking appearances.
Pip Pirrip
- Main article: Pip Pirrip
Pip Pirrip made his first appearance in "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe". He was a relatively significant character until his death in "201". He was one of the few characters to have his own episode.
Scott Malkinson
- Main article: Scott Malkinson
Scott Malkinson made his first appearance in "Elementary School Musical". He suffers from diabetes as well as a lisp. He has had occasional minor roles since then, one example being in "Butters' Bottom Bitch", however, he is most commonly seen as a background character.
Sef Furman

Sef Furman is a background character who appears in "The Pandemic Special". He is based on a real-life teenager who suffers from brain cancer.
Stan Marsh
- Main article: Stan Marsh
Stan Marsh is one of South Park's central characters and a member of the boys. He is portrayed as the only "normal" kid in South Park. He is commonly the protagonist although he frequently trades this role with Kyle Broflovski.
Terrance Mephesto

Terrance Mephesto made his first appearance in "An Elephant Makes Love to a Pig". He was portrayed as extremely arrogant and self-centered. He has since been relegated to an occasional background character.
Thomas
- Main article: Thomas
Thomas made his first and so far only appearance in "Le Petit Tourette". He is most notable for having Tourette's syndrome, which makes him swear uncontrollably.
Timmy Burch
- Main article: Timmy Burch
Timmy Burch made his first appearance in "The Tooth Fairy Tats 2000". He is now regularly seen as a background character. He is most notable for using a wheel chair, as well as only being able to utter his name and "Livin' a lie".
Tolkien Black
- Main article: Tolkien Black
Tolkien Black first appeared in "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe", however, his first speaking role wasn't until "Tweek vs. Craig". Tolkien is a member of Craig's Gang. He is usually seen as a background character, however, he does play a minor role in some episodes. His most notable appearances were in "Cartman's Silly Hate Crime 2000" where he was hit with a rock by Cartman and "Raisins", where Wendy Testaburger breaks up with Stan and begins dating him.
Tommy Turner
- Main article: Tommy Turner
Tommy Turner first appeared in "Tweek vs. Craig". He was first seen without a face, due to an incident in Richard Adler's shop class. However, later in the episode, he is seen with his face fully intact. He has since been relegated to a background character.
Tweek Tweak
- Main article: Tweek Tweak
Tweek made his first appearance in "Gnomes". He is overcaffeinated, suspicious, and paranoid boy. He temporarily became a member of the boys in "Professor Chaos", he remained a member until "The Biggest Douche in the Universe". After that, he experienced a significant role decline. His appearances have declined as well, with him usually only being seen as a background character. When he is seen, he is commonly with the rest of Craig's Gang.
