The following is an episode list for the Comedy Central series South Park. The series has its roots in 1992 when Trey Parker and Matt Stone created the animated short The Spirit of Christmas (Jesus vs. Frosty), while in college. The series began on August 13, 1997, and entered its 12th season on March 12, 2008. Trey Parker and Matt Stone renewed their contract on August 26th, 2007, to run the series through it's fifteenth season, carrying it on to the year 2011.
Currently, the first twelve seasons are available on Region 1 (US) DVD. Region 2 (Europe) has released the first eleven on DVD though more releases are planned (note: these differ from the Region 1 versions) as well as selling episodes in different volumes. The feature film "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut" was premiered during the third season on June 30, 1999. Season Eleven went on sale in August 2008 in Region 1, with the Imaginationland story arc recently released on a separate DVD as well as a feature-length special in March 2008.
This list is ordered by episode's air dates. This is because of a reference made in episode 802 to a previous event in episode 804, and the positioning of the episode celebrating 100 episodes does not fit in production order.
