Lake Tardicaca is a camp for the handicapped featured in the Season Fourteen episode, "Crippled Summer". The name itself is a parody of the largest lake in South America, Lake Titicaca, and the word "retard".
Background
Nathan with his friend Mimsy tries to sabotage Jimmy and his friends in the camp sports competitions.
The campers compete in competitions divided into a red and blue team. The events include: swimming, archery, scavenger hunt, 50 yard dash, three legged race, bear hunting, basketball, surfing, canoeing, and a talent show.
Many of the handicapped children resemble characters from the Looney Tunes cartoon series, including Elmer Fudd, Beaky Buzzard, Daffy Duck, Pete Puma, and Porky Pig, as well as MGM's Droopy Dog.
Continuity
- In the Season Eighteen episode, "Handicar", Nathan tries to sabotage Timmy's Handicar taxi from raising money for the summer camp.
