John Hughes was an American filmmaker, best known for writing and directing well-known comedy films of the 80's and 90's such as National Lampoon's Vacation, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Sixteen Candles, Home Alone, The Breakfast Club, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. He appeared in the Season Thirteen episode "Dead Celebrities".
