With some exceptions such as [[Jimmy Valmer]], all character names are renamed with some nonsensical taunts instead of being directly translated. For example, Kyle is renamed as 凯子 (''kai zi'', stupid guy), common local names are used for Kenny, renamed to 阿尼 (Ā ní), parents of the main characters are simply addressed as "their mother/father" (Randy as 屎蛋爸, shi dàn bà, Stan's father). Some minor characters would adopt the names of local Taiwanese celebrities. |

Mandarin Chinese
The show has been dubbed into Mandarin Chinese up until Season Seven. A majority of the show's contents have been rewritten to cater to Taiwanese audience.
With some exceptions such as Jimmy Valmer, all character names are renamed with some nonsensical taunts instead of being directly translated. For example, Kyle is renamed as 凯子 (kai zi, stupid guy), common local names are used for Kenny, renamed to 阿尼 (Ā ní), parents of the main characters are simply addressed as "their mother/father" (Randy as 屎蛋爸, shi dàn bà, Stan's father). Some minor characters would adopt the names of local Taiwanese celebrities.
Songs that are sung by characters in the show, including the theme song, have their lyrics rewritten, albeit using the same tune. Other songs that are played in the background retain the English lyrics.
