• The live action scene was filmed at Marina Del Rey harbor in Los Angeles.
• The actors portraying the boys during the live-action re-enactments are: Michael Zazarino as Stan Marsh, Brandon Hardesty as Eric Cartman, Eli Bildner as Kyle Broflovski, and Josh Beren as Kenny McCormick.

Continuity

• During the closing montage it was mentioned that Stan made an awareness campaign so successful that he ended up "Jackin' it in San Diego" for a second time. The first incident occurred in "Butterballs".
• Kenny's death in this episode marks the only of the season.
• This episode marks the first appearance of Mr. Hankey since the "200" and "201" arc. However, he doesn't speak with his real voice in this episode and is only shown in pictures and as real-life feces.
• Cartman insults Kyle for being Jewish, which indicates his attitude towards Judaism has reverted since "Jewpacabra".
