"Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" is a traditional Christmas carol that was first written in 1739 by Charles Wesley and George Whitefield. It was featured in the Season Two episode, "Merry Christmas Charlie Manson!"

Background[]

After Charles Manson is sent back to prison for escaping, the boys and Eric Cartman's extended family visit him in prison. They present him with a cake and begin singing this song while the ending credits roll, with Manson eventually joining in singing with them.

Lyrics[]

All:
Hark! the herald angels sing:
"Glory to the newborn King!
Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled"
Joyful, all ye nations rise
Join the triumph of the skies
Hark! the herald angels sing

Stan:
Dude, this is pretty fucked up right here!
