Spoiler warning! Plot details follow. |
At school, Kyle, Wendy, and most of the students are outraged at Clyde for many offensive statements that he had made on his podcast. Then he walks down the hallway, with kids booing and throwing things at him. Clyde dismisses their criticism by inviting the students to debate him on his podcast. While Stan tries to tell Kyle and Wendy to ignore Clyde, Cartman is completely baffled by the situation as he thought they were mad at him for his podcast and he hears Kyle calling Clyde a "fatass". In the counselors' office, Clyde explains to Mr. Mackey that saying divisive things on his podcast will help him reach his nut, which is $60 a week. Mr. Mackey says there are more important things than making your nut, like being nice. PC Principal then walks into the room and informs Mr. Mackey that he's fired and that the government is ending needless paying in schools and leaves the room. Mr. Mackey runs after him and tells him about his service for 26 years, but PC Principal stays true to his choice. He says that there is one counselor now in schools, "the greatest counselor that ever lived".
Meanwhile, on "The Clyde Donovan Podcast", Clyde welcomes everyone to "the channel of truth", and opens with a statement saying "you can't trust Jews, White people are the underprivileged, and women belong at home." He brings in his first guest, Cartman. Cartman sits with an annoyed look as he asks Clyde what the hell he thinks he's doing. He responds saying he's speaking the truth about different races when Cartman interrupts saying that's his shtick. He claims Clyde stole his idea and tells him to knock it off. He passes it off saying he doesn't know about stealing ideas, and then plugs an ad for He-Man supplement powders. Cartman yells at him in an outrage, and Clyde ignores it and keeps sponsoring the powder. He also says to #RespectClydesAuthority.
At the bank, Mr. Mackey talks about how he lost his job, saying he needs to get a handle on his monthly expenses. The teller types something in and reports to Mr. Mackey that he has an $8,000 a month Nut. Mr. Mackey is shocked, saying he didn't know at all. The teller replies by saying he could get a loan, cancel subscriptions, a second mortgage and touch up on other fees, and even so it stayed at $8,000. He says he can't find a job and nobody is hiring counselors. The teller suggests a job with the I.C.E., to which Mr. Mackey assures him he wouldn't do that. The bank teller says that they are offering recruits a salary of about $100,000, and Mr. Mackey is perplexed. On his phone, he watches a video about recruitments where it announces there's up to a $50,000 bonus. They say they don't ask for anything specific, just for officers to show up. It also shows people like Jenkins in a I.C.E. uniform. At the end they sing "If you need a job, it's a job... to have!"
Back at the school, Clyde is seen sitting outside the school at his podcast stand. An announcer says to watch him "totally destroy these woke liberal students". Clyde says it seems a lot of whiny babies have problems with what he says, and tells people to try to prove him wrong. Butters is the first debater, mentioning that he said nothing good came from Jews, but asks that if that's true then how come bagels are so good. Clyde retaliates and says that he's been taught by the Jews to have a problem with both the school and the country, so he asks for Butters' definition of a woman. Butters says a woman is a "lady friend who gives you kisses", to which Clyde points out that he can't answer it. The next one is Betsy, who angrily asks if she called the girls' soccer tes, a "Marxist indoctrination factory", and Clyde confirms. Betsy tells him they beat the boys 4-0, and Clyde says she's using an iPhone from the free market to complain about the system that gave it to her. He also says "Girls have it way easy in the US and that it's the truth." He starts to go on about women and black people having advantages, but then Cartman yells at him again in the background. He runs at him and both tackles and punches him, and gets a few more hits on him. He says he's sick of people stealing from him. He asks who wants to debate him, and Bebe decides to. She says his haircut is the stupidest she's ever seen, to which he says he's wrong, and quotes Leviticus 3:17. He tells her to shut up, saying she just "hates America and loves abortions".
At the same time, Mr. Mackey then watches an orientation video with fellow recruits, with the Homeland Security Director Kristy Noem as the spokesperson. She explains the importance of what they're doing, and that doing what's right can be hard, while shooting three dogs dead and getting her face made up twice. When the presentation ends, everyone there immediately puts their uniforms on, is given guns and head to their ICE cars for their first raid, although Mackey is very nervous about what's about to happen, hiding his face in a mask.
Back at Cartman's house, Cartman has started his own podcast (from his toilet no less) where he copies exactly what Clyde was doing and eats and promotes protein powder. He starts to "shut down woke liberal students" telling women that abortions are wrong. When one woman says "he has no right to say what I do with my body", he retaliates asking that "if a pregnant mother is killed, why is the killer charged with a double homicide?" and quotes Jeremiah 1:5 saying it's the truth. His mother hears him talk through the door, and tells him to stop "masterdebating" and leave the college girls alone, but he refuses.
Meanwhile in Denver, Mr. Mackey is sent on his first ICE assignment, and is told by Kristy to detain a load of "illegal immigrants", at a place where a lot of them can be found... a Dora the Explorer live concert! As the characters sing, the ICE people burst through the doors, and many Latino-Americans are rounded up (including Dora herself) and taken for "questioning" as Kristy shoots another dog dead, and Mackey apologizes to the immigrants saying he only wanted to make his Nut, before they are taken away. After Kristy praises Mackey's work, her face melts, frightening him, and it is restored with Botox injections and other cosmetics. That night, Ms. Cartman notices her son still in bed "masterdebating" talking about abortions to students, but is stopped and told to go to bed. As soon as she leaves, he starts "masterdebating" again, much to her disgust.
The next day, a protest against the ICE breaks out and it is shown on the news. One man claims that these are good hard-working people, and plenty of Latinos have made it into Heaven. Having seen the report, Kristy then decides the next raid should be... in Heaven itself! The ICE vehicles somehow drive into the realm and scare away the Latino angels, as they are rounded up and put into the back of the cars, and another dog is shot and dies, again. One immigrant is hard to catch as he flies above their heads. Mr. Mackey asks one of the immigrants how they got into Heaven in the first place, and again apologizes for their situation, but he's still trying to make his Nut. Kristy then tells Mackey that he has done another great job, and he will be promoted again, but before she can finish the sentence, her face melts off her skull! It wriggles off for a bit on its own, but is quickly caught and stuck back on with Botox as the makeup crew wave their arms in the air, and Kristy exclaims "No more brownies in Heaven!"
That night, at an award ceremony, the Charlie Kirk Award for Young "Masterdebaters" trophy is handed out to "a brave young man who has been "furiously masterdebating" for the past several days". Cartman is sure he will win the award, but Clyde wins it instead, sending Eric into a rage where he is dragged out the room by his mother. Clyde has also won an all-expenses-paid holiday, and feels wrong accepting it, but he does anyway. Back at the bank, Mr. Mackey has gone to check how big his Nut has grown, which has dramatically increased to $10,000 a month, with the banker saying his Nut gets bigger the longer he works there and the more immigrants he arrests. Mackey too is starting to be regretful for the career path he has chosen. Just then, the ICEs then break into the bank, scaring away a Mexican banker. Turns out that they were only there with Kristy to announce to Mackey that the President of the USA will help Mackey out with his Nut, and thank him for all the work he has done, by letting him go on a trip to Mara Lago Island, where all the wealthiest people in the world with the biggest Nuts hang out.
Later, Mackey's plane lands at the fantastic island, and Donald Trump himself greets him, along with his little sidekick J.D. Vance, who wants to create Mackey's fantasy but is then kicked aside. Trump then tells Mackey he can make more money than he has ever done before. He is then told he can have all the best offerings the island has to offer, and then that he is the new Head of Homeland Security (as Kristy was replaced because her face freaked him out). At first, Mackey agrees, but is horrified to see where these people end up, as Trump then takes off his clothes and gets in bed with Satan himself, but even the Devil isn't in the mood, as this place gives even him the creeps, and J.D. offers to apply baby oil to the Devil's anal cavity. Mackey is so scared, he rushes to find a way out, but every room has people being massaged. One old man is even getting a leg rub from the detainee Dora the Explorer. Eventually Mackey finds Clyde in the hotel (who happened to be on the same vacation) and is in the exact same situation as Mackey, trying to make his Nut by "masterdebating". Despite him having everything he ever wanted, he is not happy with the position he's in. If they keep on fighting for things they don't believe in just to make their Nuts, they'll only discover they just get sadder and their Nut just gets bigger. After that, Clyde asks exactly who it was that told him that, and Mackey removes his mask, saying that being a counselor is his true calling in life.
With that, the two of them decide to leave Mar-a-Lago, but they don't know who can help them escape. Suddenly in a white flash of light, Krypto the Super Dog flies over the sea to rescue them... only to get shot dead by Kristy, who is furious that she has been replaced as the head of security. In her outburst, her face melts off her skull again, scaring everyone. The ICEs chase after it and the face squirms off into the hotel, sticking itself to another ICE recruit's face for a bit, with him struggling to tear it off. In the commotion, Mr. Mackey, Clyde and Dora board the seaplane that brought them there, and as they escape, Kristy's face is found and returned to its owner, who sticks it back on with Botox and plastic surgery, and then everyone sings "Once In Royal David's City" as an homage to the Peanuts Christmas Special with Kristy as the glittered-up, weak, limp Christmas tree. As the credits roll, Kristy shoots up a pet shop of dogs, with one almost escaping before he too dies.
