France is a country in western Europe that first appears in the Season Three episode, "Jakovasaurs". The capital and largest city is Paris. Additionally, France is referenced often in the earlier seasons, as many children tease Pip Pirrip, claiming that he is from France.

In the majority of episodes that feature the country, it shows the Eiffel Tower in Paris and a small restaurant called "Café Grenouille" (Café Frog) in front of it.

Background[]

In "Jakovasaurs", the Jakovasaurs are sent to France by South Park, to rid the town of them. When they arrive, they are still very clumsy but instead of being annoyed, the French enjoy their antics.

In "Are You There God? It's Me, Jesus", it is showed quickly, when the Channel 4 News shows how people across the world are celebrating the arrival of the new millennium.

The same scene from "Jakovasaurs" briefly appeared in "World Wide Recorder Concert", where its residents pooped their pants due to the brown noise from the recorder concert in Arkansas.

The same location can be seen briefly in "The New Terrance and Phillip Movie Trailer" during the introduction to "Russell Crowe Fightin' Around The World", as Russell Crowe puts one man in a chokehold while punching another man.

In "Pinewood Derby", France receives a portion of the space cash but ends up in trouble, along with the rest of the world, when their ruse is discovered.
