A Dire Snake is a snake found only in Canada, along with Dire Bears and Dire Wolves.

During O Canada quest in South Park: The Stick of Truth, two dire snakes would be fought in the Catacombs of Quebec to rescue the Minister of Montreal.

Abilities[]
- Melee Attack - The Dire Snake bites the New Kid for moderate damage. Will cause Dire AIDS if not blocked. The New Kid will always be targeted if this attack is chosen.
- Canadian Greeting - The Dire Snake farts on the New Kid or his buddy and if it isn't blocked, inflicts Grossed Out as well as heavy damage.
- Road Rally - The Dire Snake rolls itself towards the New Kid for heavy damage. Will cause bleeding if not blocked.
- Lunch Bones - The Dire Snake launches venom on the New Kid or his buddy and inflicts Grossed Out if not blocked.
Trivia[]
- They are capable of inflicting Dire Aids by using their normal melee attack on the player's character. You can cure Dire Aids at the hospital in Ottawa, but finishing the game with Dire Aids earns you the achievement Outpatient.
