They were jealous that a rival show, Whale Wars, was getting better ratings than them, so they attempted to stop the Whale Wars boat, which was considerably heavier and slower than theirs, by blocking its path whenever it tried to turn. However, they were stopped when whales came and pushed their boat out of the way, as if they knew what the Whale Wars crew was doing for them. Their eventual fate remains unknown.
