Da Nang is a city in Central Vietnam. It is the 5th largest city in Vietnam by population and is mentioned in Season 1’s episode, “Volcano”.

It is mentioned in Volcano when Jimbo gives Cartman a gun on their way to hunting. Cartman says “this is like the gun I used in ‘nam”, and Stan says “you weren’t in vietnam, Cartman.” Ned Gerblanski asks, “Were you stationed in Da Nang?” This implies Ned was stationed there.
