The City People were a group of residents who moved in to South Park from larger cities in the Season Twenty-Five episode of the same name.
Background
In an effort to escape from city life, many people are moving into smaller towns like South Park, with the South Park Chamber of Commerce seeing it as an opportunity to improve their economy. At the same time, two real estate companies; namely the South Park Realtors and the South Park Realty Group attempt to lure these new residents in and sell houses to them.
The new residents, however, begin to overcrowd the town, further increasing house prices and rents, which led to the mayor ordering to rid the town of real estate agents. Following an attack on the Black Residence, the city people begin to leave town, restoring house prices as a result.
Many of the items that the city people mention are typically high-end products such as Teslas, bottled water, and MacBook.
