Trivia[]

References to Popular Culture[]

  • The influx of city people moving to South Park and the relators noting the rising costs in homes may be a reference to the increasing number of people moving out of states like California and New York, due to rising costs and crime. This eventually leads to higher real estates costs in their new states as demand for housing increases, as well as resentment from residents who do not want newcomers to increase the cost of living and bring in their old way of life.[1][2][3][4]
  • The Coney Island Hotdog Stand is a real restaurant attraction located in Bailey, Colorado.
  • Cartman is seen eating from a jar of Nutella, a hazelnut cocoa spread.
  • Several vehicles were seen in this episode bear the Empire Gold variation of New York's vehicle registration plates.

Goofs[]

  • The Donovan Residence is labeled with the address of "2210 Mala Vista Dr." This is inconsistent with South Park: The Fractured But Whole, where the address is revealed to be "2201 W. Bonanza Street".
  • The New York registration plates on several vehicles include an image of the Statue of Liberty. In reality, such registration plates would show a map of the New York state instead.
  • Clyde Frog and Rumpertumskin could be seen inside the Coney Island Hotdog in the background, which they were both killed in "1%".
    • However, it is possible that Cartman had bought replacements.
  • South Park Realtors claimed Cartman was showing "Tolkien's" house. But as a real estate company, they should be referring the house to be "Black Residence", rather than calling it based on the child of the home-owners.
    • Cartman also shows off Clyde's, Craig's, Wendy's, and Kyle's houses this way, but he has the excuse of being a child.
