Trivia

  • The opening has returned to the original version used since Season Seventeen, though after the commercial break, it is called "Tegridy Farm Christmas Special".
  • When Randy and Towelie discuss repackaging the surplus marijuana, the "Mexican Joker" collection has the biggest surplus, as Randy mentions that "people really didn't like Mexican Joker". It may be a reference to the episode not being well received among some fans and critics.
  • In reality, there are no alcohol bans in Colorado like the one depicted in "Christmas Snow." Alcohol sales are forbidden from 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day, that's all.
  • One of the promo images depicts Santa standing with The Boys in front of his sleigh, implying they would have a large role in the episode. In the actual episode, The Boys only appear in a few short scenes and do not directly interact with Santa while the adults are the main focus of the episode.

  • The traditional Christmas song "Silent Night" is played when the town is shown completely empty due to the temporary ban on alcohol sales.
  • Though they can only be seen at the beginning of the episode, the episode features a number of label brand and parody alcoholic beverages, including S'Moors, Pabst, and even John Adams, an obvious parody of Samuel Adams, the multi-product sub of Boston Beer Company.
  • The billboard with Santa holding a jar of Tegridy Farm Christmas Snow with the caption "Coke Time" parodies a classic promotional picture from The Coca-Cola Company of Santa Claus holding a bottle of Coca-Cola with the same caption as seen here.
  • Randy can be seen at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to promote legalization of cocaine.
  • Randy leads a protest to legalize cocaine in front of Pike Place Market in Seattle, Washington.
  • Butter mentions the Disney+ series The Mandalorian and mentions its not as good now.
  • Greta Thunberg was mentioned by the audience comparing Santa Claus' speech to her speech.
  • The scene in which Santa steals the Christmas Snow from everyone's homes is a reference to How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The instrumental that plays is a parody of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" from the movie.
  • The scene in which the townspeople try catching the Christmas Snow on their tongues is a reference to the snowflake scene in A Charlie Brown Christmas. The scene was previously parodied in the Season One episode "Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo".
