• MOOP is an acronym for "Matter Out of Place", referring to litter and garbage found in forests and beaches.
• Gold, frankincense, and myrrh were the gifts given at Jesus' birth. Frankincense and myrrh are plants in Africa and the Middle East used for soap and perfume.
• Butters curses in this episode, while normally, he rarely swears. 
• Skyler and his friends are seen on strike but have no lines. This marks their first appearance since "Timmy 2000".
• The homeless guy from "Krazy Kripples " is seen sleeping in the seat behind Cartman on the bus.

Continuity

• This is the second time Capitol Records in Hollywood has been parodied, the first being in "Chef Aid".
• Cartman states that he will one day kill Token and in "World War Zimmerman" he actually attempts this.

Goofs

• For a fraction of a second before Token swings at Cartman, his fists enlarge in width.
• The Faith + 1 album cover in the infomercial and at the myrrh album ceremony is different to the photo that Cartman took, with Token and Butters having swapped places.
