Chipotlaway is a fictional cleaning product that Billy Mays advertised and sold on TV in the Season Thirteen episode, "Dead Celebrities". The name is a portmanteau of chipotle, a type of jalapeño chili pepper, and the word "away".

Background[]

Chipotlaway's main purpose is to clean blood stains out of soiled underwear.

According to Mays, people defecate blood after eating food from Chipotle Mexican Grill, except Stan, who is said to have a "golden rectum of the gods" according to Cartman.

Throughout the episode, Billy Mays attempts to sell various products while as a ghost haunting Ike.

This product also made a second appearance in the final episode of Season Fourteen, "Crème Fraiche".

Trivia[]

  • Chipotlaway is a parody of one of Billy Mays' real products, called OxiClean, which is also designed to get stains out of clothing.
  • In the DVD commentary for "Dead Celebrities", Trey Parker and Matt Stone stated that they liked Chipotle and wanted to use it in the show. Although they liked Chipotle, they wanted to portray it with a negative, ironic twist, simply because it tends to be healthier than other fast-food chains.
  • Its commercial can be heard in South Park: The Fractured But Whole whenever a television set is turned on.
