Cherokee Hair Tampons are supposedly made out of "all-natural hair from the Cherokee people" and then bundled with Native American beads. An advertisement of the product further claims that the hair is more absorbent than regular tampons, though it was shown to be otherwise.
The Cherokee Hair Tampons are supplied for Miss Information, to be sold at her spiritual store. Cheech and Chong later reveal that Miss Information was a fraud, and a woman who had recently bought 48 Cherokee Hair Tampons becomes horrified as she had already used some of them.
