The Bus Stop is The Boys' regular meeting place and hangout, both when waiting for school bus as well as for meeting up after school, as first seen in "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe".

The boys are usually seen standing lined up to the right of the sign (with the sign on camera left), with Stan and Kyle usually standing next to each other and Kenny furthest right, with Cartman either closest to the sign or third from it. The lineup can vary considerably from episode to episode. The boys often talk to each other here, or show up to share news with one another.

It is the series' most iconic location and heavily associated with it, often appearing on merchandise and parodies including Simpsons; this is even referenced within the series, as when the boys seek a replacement friend in "Professor Chaos" they stand by the bus stop with the auditionees to see how the lineup looks, showing that they are aware of how iconic the image of the four characters standing by the sign is.

The bus stop appeared frequently in the show's first nine seasons, but as they increasingly hung out with other kids like Butters and Jimmy, locations such as the school cafeteria and hallways became more favorable for such establishing scenes. The boys' were most recently seen the bus stop in the Season Eighteen episode "#REHASH" and have not been seen there since.

In South Park: The Streaming Wars, only Kyle and Kenny are shown to still queue here. Stan is already on the bus when they get on, and Cartman gets on at a different stop.
