- The scene featured in the promo clip for this episode was missing Cartman's last line from the promo in the actual episode.
- A new opening was created for this episode, which uses the PC Babies song from "Buddha Box". However, the ending theme still kept Randy Marsh's "Tegridy Farms" scat despite this episode wasn't centered around Randy and Tegridy Farms itself.
- One of the main topics of the episode is the issue of transgender athletes competing in female athletic competitions. While there has been some support for trans athletes to be allowed to compete in the gender they identify as rather than what they were assigned at birth, there have also been complaints that trans female athletes have an unfair advantage compared to biologically female athletes, such as having larger muscle mass and higher bone density, which some believe costs biologically female athletes victories that should have been originally theirs. - The topic of tabletop gaming is shown in this episode, as Trey Parker and Matt Stone are known to be big fans of board games and have featured them in past episodes.
