In "The China Probrem", Cartman has a nightmare of the 2008 Summer Olympics opening ceremony.

In "Pinewood Derby", Hu Jintao appears briefly talking to Randy at his office in Beijing on the phone and wanting a share of the 'space cash'.

In "Tweek x Craig", Randy calls Xi Jinping in his office at Zhongnanhai, wanting to learn the secret behind Yaoi. Jinping, however, tells him that Yaoi originates in Japan, and becomes frustrated that the Japanese have yet to apologize to China for the Nanjing Massacre. His secretary is then seen kissing Jinping in his office in a montage at the end of the episode.

In "Doubling Down", President Herbert calls up Xi Jinping in his office angrily.

In "Band in China", Randy and Mickey Mouse go to the Great Hall of the People to persuade Xi Jinping to expand his weed business to China.
