  • For this episode, the show has been renamed to "The Scott Malkinson Show" with an all new opening.
  • When the goth kid Pete is talking to Sophie, she mentions Scottsdale, Arizona. The Goth Kids previously sent Mike Makowski to Scottsdale in an attempt to get rid of the vampires in "The Ungroundable".
  • Cartman watches The Queef Sisters even though he was disgusted by it in "Eat, Pray, Queef".
  • M Burgers is shown when Clark decides to order food on the way to the Stoch residence, but the employee states that it is McDonalds.
  • The Get Cable Company from "Informative Murder Porn" is now renamed Park County Cable, but still retains the logo.
  • One of the main topics of this episode is consumers shifting away from cable service providers and using streaming services instead, due to costs, being able to choose which content they want and watch it whenever they want and unique content, as well as not having to rely on poor customer service and long delays from the cable company.[1][2][3]

Later in the episode, Scott wields syringes in a fashion similar to Wolverine's claws. Those characters have romantic interest in one another in the Marvel universe.
  • At the Royal Cinema that two of the cable company employees visit, posters for Doctor Sleep and Ford v Ferrari can be seen near the concession stand.

  • In the scene where Clark and his co-workers are vandalizing cable lines, Clark calls one of his colleagues "Dave," however he had called Michael when he was meeting with them. The real Dave was not present in this scene.
