"Ballad of James Cameron" was James Cameron's theme in the Season Sixteen episode, "Raising the Bar". The song is a parody of the "Ballad of Davy Crockett" written by George Bruns and lyrics by Grant Sherman Henry and Thomas W. Blackburn.

BackgroundEdit

Film director James Cameron appears so egotistical that he has a song written about himself. He plays the song while in a submersible searching the ocean floor for where the proverbial "bar" is in entertainment and society.

Record Store Day ExclusiveEdit

This song, credited as "James Cameron", with "My Bitch Ain't No Hobbit" was released by Comedy Central records for the special event Record Store Day: Black Friday November 28th, 2014.[1]

LyricsEdit

His name is James, James Cameron
The bravest pioneer
No budget too steep, no sea too deep
Who's that?
It's him, James Cameron
James, James Cameron explorer of the sea
With a dying thirst to be the first
Could it be? Yeah that's him!
James Cameron
