The AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) is first mentioned and seen in the episode "Grey Dawn" in which Marvin Marsh places a call to them because their rights are being violated by the destruction of their drivers liscences.
The AARP in the South Park universe are a militant organization by their hostage-taking and strict demands. The reason for this is because the Senior Citizens rights in South Park have been violated and need to be restored.

The contraction "AARP" resembles the noise of a very long, squeaky fart.
