Afghanistan is a mountainous landlocked country located in South-Central Asia. Its capital and largest city is Kabul.

In its first appearance on the show, "Osama bin Laden Has Farty Pants", the country is shown being blown up by U.S. aircraft. The Afghan boys, who resemble Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick, are shown trying to have fun by doing activities, such as going to the cinema or trying to play basketball, but they end up being bombed.
Osama bin Laden is also shown to be located here in an unknown cavern, where he holds the boys and "Stevie Nicks" hostage. Afghanistan later appears in "It's a Jersey Thing" where Osama bin Laden is watching a video that Randy Marsh recorded showing him the horrors of New Jersey and asking him for help.
